However, the code won't appear on its own, without additional information from other sensors (G4 and G40).
Testing can be a bit difficult because there are two pins for the connector and they serve different purposes but the best method to test it is by measuring resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read around 1000 ohms when it is in full operation. If you are having problems with this sensor, look for evidence of oil or coolant in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a massive reduction in power. It was as if the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors were not firing. I also tried to reset the PID without success. Also, i noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 when I crank up the engine.
I'm not sure what to do, i believe that i've ruled out everything else. I'm afraid i may have missed something. Let me know should you have any suggestions! TIA!

The fuel pump in the g28 can be activated by a signal sent from the RPM sensor. The GM-style transmitter is identical to the G4 sender and both work on the 80,100,200, UrS, and RS2 vehicles.
